OK I think I have this thing figured out. So much has happened since the last time we posted. I will try to remember it all.
While Jenni was in Fort Myers with her Mom and Grandma, I stayed home and repainted our bedroom. It was the only room in the house that had not been painted and/or redone. It was in desperate need of a facelift. I think it turned out pretty well. I will post some before and after pics.
Will's new favorite activity is to feed and water the dogs. If he decides they are hungry he will walk into our pantry, open the bin full of dogfood, scoop out a handful and spread it on the floor for the dogs. The dogs love it. Jenni is not so wild about the mess. If he decides they are thirsty he will dip his hand in their water bowl and put it in front of their mouth so they will lick the water off. When he is trying to get their attention he makes this clicking noise with his mouth or pats his leg with his hand.
His two favorite words right now are Mommy and Daddy. But he says both words with the emphasis on the second syllable so he sounds like a little British kid. I just keep waiting for him to ask for a spot of juice.
The last trip we took was to Atlanta over the July 4th weekend to see my parents. The weekend went really well. Will got to see almost all of his aunts and uncle and some of his cousins as well. Caitlin and Matthew showed Will how to collect "buggies" out of Grandmas garden. Of course the highlight of the trip for me was being able to go flying. It had been so long since I had flown with my Dad in his airplanes.
Will got to see a lot of stuff in Atlanta that he doesn't get to see in Birmingham. The airplanes and horses were, of course, the highlight but helping Dad and Grandpa change the oil in the cub as well as washing the golf cart were also very exciting.
Will has about 40 words in his vocabulary and it seems like he adds a new one every day. He has started putting two words together. When he eats a meal, he insists on one of us sitting with him. He will point to one of the chairs and say "Mommy sit" or "Daddy sit".
This week we should find out if we are having a boy or a girl. We will le you all know as soon as we find out. I think it is going to be a boy, Jenni is going with girl. I was right with Will so I am looking to go 2-0. Jenni is 0-1 right now. The pregnancy is going pretty well. Jenni says most of the sickness has gone away. Unfortunately the heartburn is just getting started.
I think that is all the news for now. Now that we have our new web page, we will post more often. I hope all of you are doing well.

A battle of "will"
