I know, it's been FOREVER!

Ok, I did my best to catch up with all that we've been doing this summer! We've been soo busy! In the next couple days I'll do a better update on the kids and what they are up to now. But for now, you can see some of what we've been doing. :)

Fun at the Lake

Happy 29th Birthday, Daddy!

Alexandria, VA

At the beginning of June, Mom and I and the kiddos drove to Alexandria, VA for my cousin, Natalie's high school graduation party. Most of my mom's family made it (we missed you John Pascutti family!) :) We stopped in Roanoke (8 hours) on the way there and spent the night with Stephen's brother Gus and his family. We are so thankful to them for putting us up for the night! Stephanie even let mom and I join in on Bunko which apparently, Mom is really good at! We drove the next 4 hours to Alexandria the next morning. We had such a great time there! Their house is absolutely beautiful! I am in love with it. It is pretty much right on the Potomac River. It was so nice to see everyone and my Aunt Mary makes some gooood food! Everything was wonderful except the 105 degree temperatures with 100 percent humidity the whole time we were there! I have a few pictures, but we were having so much fun, that I did not get many. Congratulations, Natalie!

Grandpa's 60th Birthday Party

At the end of June, Stephen's 4 sisters and their husbands and kids and his brother, his wife and kids, and we traveled to Atlanta to celebrate Grandpa Hertz' 60th birthday. It was the first time since our wedding 6 years ago, that I can remember, that we have all been together in the same place. Including Grandpa and Grandma, there were 13 adults, 12 kids (oldest one is 6), and 2 babies on the way in attendance. As you can imagine, it was complete chaos most of the time, but more fun then we could have anywhere else! Grandma put together some great goodie bags for the kids and the adults, and there was plenty of great food and fellowship. The kids were able to play on a slip n slide, splash in the pool, ride the 4 wheelers and the golf cart, shoot each other with nerf guns (although, truth be told, the "adults" took those over pretty quickly!), and a few of the kids, Will being one of the lucky ones went for an airplane ride with Grandpa. I, Mommy, was a complete wreck during this airplane ride, but Will LOVED it, asking the whole way to go higher and faster! ugh! We had a great time, and really appreciate Grandpa and Grandma letting us all come to visit!

Orange Beach

The kids and I packed up the van the day after we got back from Atlanta to go to the beach for a couple of days with my friends, Ashley and Taylor, and Taylor's sister, Lauren. We had a good time. The kids loved the beach and I really enjoyed catching up with my friends! Here are some pictures from our trip. Somehow, Ashley, Taylor, and Lauren escaped my camera lens, but they were there!
