So, we had an exciting night tonight. I went to walk with a friend shortly after Will and Sarah went to bed. I got back about an hour later, and heard Will yelling out from his room about his nose. So, I went back there, thinking I was going to wipe it and tuck him back in. Not so much. He started screaming as soon as I went through the door, so I carried him out into the den to evaluate. On the way out to the den, he told me that there was a piece of Jack's rubber ball (the dog) in his nose. GREEEAAAT!
So, Stephen got the tweezers and I got the flashlight, and after a couple minutes of attempting to fish what later turned out to be the inside of Will's nose out of Will's nose, we realized that we could not actually see the piece of rubber. Will was pretty much hysterical, and we started talking hospital visit. Stephen called the doctor while I sat him up on the counter and made him keep blowing and blowing, praying it would come out. After a minute or so, I went to get the flashlight, and while I was gone he had a huge sneeze and out came the piece of rubber. I'm leaving out the gory details, but trust me, it was not pretty.
So, we let out a huge sigh of relief and then launched into our lecture about never sticking anything in any holes ever. I'm pretty sure he got the picture. Let's hope so...
Ugh! What a night! and the question we keep asking, WHY, WHY, WHY?

Magazine reminder
Just a reminder that as of yesterday, the Paula Deen Chocolate issue should have hit the newsstands, although I have not checked. A few of you wanted a reminder, so here it is. The recipes look delicious, and Will looks pretty cute too! :)
update: The only place I've seen it so far is Books A Million, so a bookstore might be your best bet to find it...
