South Carolina

Here are the promised pics from our weekend trip to SC for my cousin, David's, graduation from high school. We were having such a good time, that I didn't get as many pics as I would have liked, but I got some good ones. We had a blast, and everytime we all get together, I am reminded of how lucky I am to have such a large, loving, and fun family! We love you all!

We were hoping for nap at some point during the 6 hour car ride...Sarah slept the whole time except for lunch, but here's Will crossing the AL/GA border...

Blog update

We've gotten a little behind on our blogging. All I have time to post right now are pictures from the last couple weeks...Mother's Day and other random shots. The kids and I took a trip to South Carolina this past weekend to celebrate my cousin, David's, graduation from high school. We had a great time, and the trip went very well. I took some pictures there that I will try to post in a little while.
Hope you're all having a great week!

Busy, busy Spring

We've been so busy lately! This is our absolute favorite time of the year, so we've really been taking advantage of it. We've had lots of fun times with Will's playgroup, including a couple trips to the zoo where, in addition to seeing the animals, Will gets to play in the water fountains. He LOVES it!
Last weekend, Aunt Andree and Uncle Tim stopped in for a quick visit on their way home to MS from TN. The kids enjoyed seeing them. Will talked about them for the rest of the day, but was quite shy while they were here. Sarah just smiled away at Aunt Andree...it was really cute! Later that day, we went to a place called Aldridge Gardens. It is a family's home that they have now opened up to the public. It is kind of like a mini Botanical Gardens...they are especially fond of Hydrangeas, which are my favorite flower. It is a really, really pretty place and is so nice because there is a lot of room for the kids to run around and play. We spent most of the afternoon there playing and taking pictures. It was such a nice afternoon. I can't wait for the Hydrangeas to bloom! I have lots of pictures to post.
I'm trying to think of some news...
Will continues to be a total 2 year old! Wild as can be and sometimes extremely defiant. Other times, the sweetest little boy I've ever met. He's a total Jekyll and Hyde right now! He absolutely LOVES to be doing anything and everything that Stephen is doing!!! He loves to drive the lawnmower, loves to use the blower, and LOVES to use Daddy's tools. The scary thing is, and I kid you not...he can use Daddy's tools better than I can! It's really scary how well he knows how to use tools and how well he can actually manipulate them! He can tell me the names of every single tool in Daddy's toolbox and what to use it for. He definitely takes after his Daddy. (in other ways other than his looks! :) ). He still absolutely loves his baby sister. He's so sweet with her and I often hear him over talking to her.
Sarah will be 5 months old tomorrow. She is so sweet. She's a very social baby. She really likes to be out of her carseat smiling at everyone in sight when we are out and about. The cutest thing she does is laugh at Will. She laughs all day long at Will, and he is still the only one who can really make her laugh. She's spending all day long trying to jam her entire fist in her mouth. She's definitely started teething and wants to put everything, especially her fist, in her mouth. She's been grabbing toys hanging above her much more than Will ever did. She and Will are still sleeping in the same room and that has worked out fine. He sleeps through her crying and she sleeps through his. They are both sleeping from 7-7:30...LOVE it! She takes a short nap in the morning a couple hours after she wakes up, and then she and Will have been napping together for a couple hours after lunch. I am so thankful that they are both good sleepers!
That's all for now...onto the pictures...
