Mr. Man is 8 months old! Time is flying. He still has the sweetest personality. I chose this picture because this is what I will remember about Luke at this stage. He’s a nose scruncher. He scrunches his nose constantly. It’s so cute! Here are some more things about my 8 month old that I want to remember.
- He’s a little party boy. The wilder things get here, the better as far as he’s concerned. He absolutely adores Will and Sarah. His little face absolutely lights up when they come into the room. He belly laughs alll the time when Will is around, and luckily, Will seems to like nothing better than to entertain Luke. Really cute.
- Luke “talks” constantly right now. “Maamamamama, Daddaaddaada, Baaabbaaabbaa”, are his favorite words. He knows to say “Uh-oh” when he drops something. It is usually a really drawn out “Uhhhh” with an “o” thrown in occasionally.
- His Church behavior this month has been atrocious. He is most likely going to end up being the first one of our children who finds his self in the nursery. I’m pretty sure Stephen and I are both quite sick of wrestling him each week.
- The baby gate went up this week. He’s been scooting around for a few weeks, but last week, he got much more efficient, and started covering a lot of ground. He still army crawls, and I’m starting to think that that might be all he ever does. It’s so ridiculous because it takes so much more energy to do what he is doing. He’s going to have some serious upper body strength.
- Luke LOVES to go for anything and everything he’s not supposed to have. Will and Sarah did that occasionally, but that is all Luke wants to do. He will bypass 10 baskets of toys to find a power cord or a piece of trash on the floor to eat. He is definitely going to keep me on my toes.
- He is Mr. Social. Luke goes out of his way to try to make people notice him and talk to him. He had a great time on the airplane flirting with the flight attendants.
Here are a couple pics of Lukester.
If you toss his blanket to him, he will automatically stick his left thumb in his mouth and fall over. It is hilarious. Clearly he got his flexibility from his Mommy…haha!
Cheerio man ends up with food everywhere after he eats. Somehow he managed to get these cheerios stuck in his hair. :)
big boy got to play on the slip n slide with the big kids and he LOVED it!
What a wonderful addition to our family! We love our Lukie-Bear!
