Luke—9 months (7/11/11)

He looks so different with those big chompers doesn’t he?  He’s got 4 more coming in all at once right now.  The dreaded “eye” teeth. 

This months accomplishments include…

• crawling normally—he took off and flies all over the house now looking for power cords and dumping the animals’ water 10-15 times a day.
• pulling up on everything—you cannot imagine the number of small bruises the child has on his head.  He bumps it on everything but just keeps going.
• throwing his blanket out of the crib at least once a night.  Luckily, he usually throws it right after we put him to bed, screams about it, then is happy as can be to get it back to go to sleep.  It’s funny right now, because he’ll scream and then throw in an “uh-oh”.  It’s not going to be funny if he starts to do it consistently.
• He also does this…

a lot!  He wants “up” a lot during the day.  The first time he did it, I said out loud how cute it was.  About 8 hours later, Stephen asked me if I still thought it was cute to which the answer was a resounding “no.” 

That’s all I can think of.  He’s still as tough and funny as ever.

Luke and Daddy.  He tries to eat out of our mouths like a little bird.  It is hilarious.

1st time in grass and he was not a fan!  He did not put his legs down for the longest time and then he only did because he couldn’t hold them up in the air any longer.  It was quite funny.
